About EMS Training
Our functional training system reinvents the way in which Electro Muscular Stimulation it’s used.
At ENVISION we have taken Fitness and EMS training to a whole new level, bringing the future into the NOW
Electro Muscular Stimulation, is a 200 year’s old technique used for recovery and rehabilitation – physiotherapy. In sports it begun to be used in the 60’s which later, in the 90’s revolutionized into an effective fitness tool. The EMS concept uses electrical impulses to contract the muscles, reaching deeper muscle layers, that are hard to activate through conventional training.
EMS impulses are applied via electrodes within a body suit throughout the body, directly above the muscles, that are then stimulated whilst doing a series of workout exercises. The combination of various exercises leads to an additional increase of tension producing highly effective training results that achieve optimal results for different applications such as:
- Boosting a higher energy demand
- Strengthening and conditioning
- Improving performance, fitness level and speed;
- Muscle formation and definition;
- Reshaping and toning
- Reducing cellulite and firming the skin;
- Promoting mobility and flexibility;
- Rehabilitates and works as body therapy;
- Assists in healing back pain and improve general body posture.
Conventional EMS vs. ENVISION System
Our functional training system reinvents the way in which Electro Muscular Stimulation it’s used.
Conventional EMS
Conventional EMS often means heavy vests with cabled electrodes hooked to a stand station though a 2m plug cord, or a wireless but thick and heavy to move costume generally stimulating specific areas of the body without an individual and precise control (for example, agonist and antagonist muscles such as biceps and triceps or quads and hamstring cannot make use of the same stimulation ratio in a general stimulus applied).
The ultimate EMS System
The Power Suit with its sleek design fits perfectly, has a more anatomical shape and positioning of the electrodes and for the first time in the history of EMS Systems we get to have shoulder activation, a long training suit targeting the calves, and lats stimulation. And if you think all that just goes skin-deep, you should ask about the unprecedent muscular (hypertrophy) recruitment and depth.
To free ourselves from the old EMS training concepts, the cables were replaced by wireless Bluetooth technology, allowing full freedom of movement in the training.
The heart of the system combines low and medium frequencies with maximum depth effect and adapts itself highly dynamically to the person doing the training..
The command center is preinstalled with training programs and individual combination options for a tailor-made and functional workout, including intuitive touch screen operations and wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
Perfect for Group Training!
Ports and exercise connect, motivate and inspire. Especially when you train together. ENVISION System enables intense EMS functional workouts to take place in groups.
The System can enable up to 8 participants at a single touch. The Group Edition: each member receives his own Power Box. The trainer selects the training program and controls the intervals and pulse intensity individually.
This creates a group atmosphere that promises even more training success, and, above all, lots of fun!

Questions & Answers
Why is EMS so effective?
During EMS training 90% of the body muscles are activated simultaneously. Each contraction is stronger and more intense than the impulses sent by the brain alone. One second of an electrical impulse is contracting the muscles 85 times. Deeper muscle groups are activated which leads to better intra and inter muscular coordination. Based on these scientifically proven facts, you achieve highly effective results in a very short period of time.
Metabolic and body enzymes activity is increased, and energy consumption rises. Burning up to 800 kcal in 20minutes, and will keep the metabolism activated for the next 48h, being able to burn 3000kcal more during resting time. The musculature is built up, excessive fat is converted into energy and successfully reduced – an effect that continues for hours after the training.
The results are visible, effective and sustain body contouring from the buildup of fat-free muscle mass and lean fibers with the simultaneous reduction of excessive body fat.
Why only 20 minutes of EMS workout?
That’s because a 20minute workout is made of 38,250 contractions for each muscle group, including as well the deep stabilizing muscles! It is equivalent to 4 hours of high intensity training and it’s 18 times more efficient than traditional workouts. More than 20 minutes is overtraining and will exhaust the muscles completely. Not because of the electro muscular stimuli, but even with regular workouts, overtraining is possible and will have the same effect of exhausting and burning the muscles.
How much time can you save with EMS?
A general gym workout requires an average of 45 min up to 1.5 hours per session, 3 to 5 times per week in order to reach and train all the big muscular groups. EMS give you more effective results in 20minutes session, a maximum of twice a week, and involves 90% of the body muscles – unachievable with traditional workouts.
Are there any side-effects when training with EMS?
EMS training is based on low frequency impulses and does not harm the body. The body needs electrical impulses from our central nervous system, which leads to a muscle contraction and EMS only uses this natural principle in a more intense and effective way. After more than 10 years of studies there are no known side effects of EMS training, except:
- Wellbeing at all levels: it has a therapeutic effect as it promotes a feeling of physical and mental wellbeing.
- Pain reduction: targets and strengthens the deeper layers of the torso muscle group.
- Rehabilitation and mobility: gently rebuilds a specific muscle or muscle groups. All exercises can be performed in either a horizontal or a standing position.
- Incontinence: EMS training can prevent and relieve incontinence by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles.
- Stress relief.
Is EMS effective for professional sports and athletic purposes?
Studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of the EMS training:
- EMS is the only form of training that increases maximum performance by improving speed of motion.
- An increase in performance capacity was general observed, occurring in 84% of participants!
- Maximum strength increased by 17% after 4 training session!
- 71% of participants showed a significant improvement in endurance!
- Strength-endurance training values increased by as much as 108% after just 12 training sessions!
- After just 4 weeks of training, maximum performance increased by as much as 30%!
- Contraction speed increased by an average of 22%. The explosive power of the hard-to-train deep trunk musculature even increased by up to 74%!
- The values that were measured underline the fact that whole body EMS training is up to 40% more intensive than traditional strength training with weights!
And ALL this are facts!
